We have something really fun to share with you this week.
We came across the Floppy Fish by Perky Pets and had to try one out.
They’re stuffed animals that flop around like a fish out of water when your dog tries to play with it. They’re suitable for both cats and dogs and can bring you some really funny responses.
These Floppy Fish are rechargeable and so far pretty durable. We thought one was a goner already but after a quick charge he was resurrected.
The Floppy Fish was created to help reduce separation anxiety, by keeping your dog busy while being left alone. The Floppy Fish has a motion-based sensor, so it begins to flop when interacted with!
Using a Floppy Fish will help reduce destructive behavior while your dog is left alone and provides mental stimulation to combat boredom.
They are super affordable and would make awesome gifts for the upcoming holiday season!
We wanted to show you exactly how they work – so we took a quick video of how the girls reacted.
First, let’s watch how Ivy interacted with the Floppy Fish.
As you can see, she couldn’t get enough of them! She kept leaping at me so she could play with it…
Now, lets watch Addie.
We may have pretended it was real for her, but she LOVED it. Her body was trembling to be able to grab at it.
Once she got it though, she did not let him leave her sight…
