After a long day at work, I like to sit down and relax with some wine and my girls. They love to sit on the couch and cuddle right next to me (Izzy is often too close that she spills the wine all over me).
[But you know what they say – “don’t cry over spilled milk”…either way, we enjoy spending that time together.]
Although I’m no wine connoisseur, I’ve tried out a well-rounded variety (I’d say).
Rescue Dog Wines were so smooth and had some great flavor profiles to them.
The red wines we tried were full-bodied and are made of the finest Premium Green Sustainable grapes in California!
We tried the California North Coast Cabernet and the Red Wine Blend.
The California North Coast Cabernet was perfect for dinner as it had aromas of plum, dark berries, black currant, vanilla and some coffee with tasting notes of plum, fig and caramel. This produced a dry elegant finish – which I LOVED.
The Red Wine Blend to me, was a bit lighter, as it had aromas of fig jam, black currant, sweet caramel and toasted marshmallow (yum!) with tasting notes of fig, dark berries, caramel and vanilla.
They were both delicious and perfect to relax to after a busy day (luckily, Izzy didn’t spill on me either).
These wines make perfect host gifts, Secret Santa gifts or even stocking stuffers!
